It’s been said
many times that the human body is a marvelous self-healing ‘machine’. We experience
this when blood clots around a cut, given enough fibrinogen and platelets to
bind, it happens without our focused attention to make it happen, it just
happens. Beyond the simple healing, there are infinite places, physically,
emotionally, and energetically, that we either sustain a state of health or we
gradually breakdown into a state of dis-ease. I vision it was a creative evolutionary
path, a tool of survival. From the moment Spirit, the loving conscious light of
our highest true selves, consciousness, chi, prana, energy, which has a
particular frequency that matches our individual bodies, entered the flesh, it became
the guide and the magician for the flesh to remain in a state of harmony. There
are volumes that can be exposed on this topic, however I want to focus on the
healing capacity of Spirit for the body, how we access the quality of it, and
the survival mechanism we have created to utilize Spirit on our path to stay alive
and preferable healthy.
Wherever our
attention is that is where our Spirit dwells, or even just pops in and out,
depends how long the attention is there. Healing comes into the body when we
focus attention on the body, and so when thoughts travel elsewhere the body, the
flesh, the 3d self is in a loss and missing the healing quality of the conscious
self thus deteriorating, going into a state of dis-ease. Dis-ease causes pain
physical and emotional which forces the brain to have to take attention there,
which brings the consciousness back. Pain is a survival technique created by
our highly creative selves. And so, the point being that we need to meditate
daily and hone in our consciousness into the flesh and honor it. Connecting the
mind body and spirit is a functional practice.
So what are ways
we bring attention to the body? We meditate in various fashion; Sometimes in
stillness and silence, as in Za Zen, where we just sit, open eyes gazing at a
wall at 45 degrees downward, clearing the mind entirely. Sometimes with guided
meditations that focus our full attention, with non-judgment, on various
chakras of the energetic body, or various body parts (the heart loves this, we
create heart-mind coherence). Sometimes in physical exercise, as in yoga, or
weight lifting, or sports. When we participate in these activities we are fully
there for ourselves, we are focused and Spirit is present within the flesh, our
higher dimensional self is showing up in the 3rd dimensional plane. This
is the stuff called alignment, and in sports and life we’re on fire, we bring
our A-game. In these states our consciousness is in contact, in communication,
in relationship with the body, and so the consciousness is fully able to supply
the flesh with pure healing light of its perfectly matched frequency. It is
providing the accurate frequency for the body to stay in health. It is the
accurate frequency because it is our true self, the self that chose the flesh
to embody, and so it is in perfect alignment with our highest good, highest
purpose, and highest quality. I sense that magic lies in that we are the only
ones that can bring that light back into ourselves, by choice.
In contrast,
when we think outside of the body and in constant detachment from the body,
meaning when we think about the future, the past, or other people and
situations that cannot be mitigated, helped or controlled, the consciousness is
pulled away from the physical, so the physical begins to, in a way disintegrate,
and lose connection with source, and so we lose connection with the frequency
of our highest true self, leading to for example the discomfort of vertigo or
other dis-eases. The frequency is so necessarily essential in the sustaining of
the 3d self. When it is missing, when spirit is not showing up for the flesh
over and over again, we create a state of pain, physically or emotionally. Feeling
pain is the survival tool to bring the attention back into the brain, the
medulla specifically, where consciousness meets the flesh. That, “Ouch, this
area hurts,” is calling Spirit back, so we’re unable to remove our attention
from the pain to go and think about something else. It’s just utterly
impossible because the pain is drawing your attention to the body, as a tactic,
a tool, it’s a method of survival to bring the consciousness back into the
body, into the place that needs the healing, even feelings are doing this.
Noticing our feelings we find them lodged somewhere in the body. We can heal an
emotion by bringing attention to the part of the body that is experiencing the
emotion, with non-judgment (always with non-judgment), and allowing Spirit to
fill the space with the frequency of our highest self and transform the feeling
and release the emotion. Through the process, energetically, the message of the
purpose and the learning will come to us in 3d form, an understanding or a
message through our own self or through a mirror, another loving being, who
brings that message to us. We just have to be awake enough to receive that
message. This is an entire study in it of itself.
The objective of
all of this is to accept and acknowledge Spirit as a healer, and make a life of
mindfulness, meditation, and showing up for ourselves a functional practice.
Dishonoring that brings us into a constant battle with ourselves, thus creating
dis-ease. The magic of our Spirit to heal is the knowing that we are that. We
are our own greatest healers, with patients, grace and ease.
